David Pogue tells me to not believe The Daily
Yesterday I was shocked to read that one of my favorite NYT columnists David Pogue was caught up in a bizarre scandal involving hitting his wife with an iPhone (ironic as it may sound). I tweeted my response directly from The Daily’s iPad app…
According to The Daily, as of Sunday, Pogue had not addressed the situation with his enormous Twitter audience of more than 1.3 million and counting, but just a couple of hours after my tweet, Pogue sent me a direct message, refuting the The Daily’s article.
What’s the truth? Seems like a lot of facts were left out of The Daily’s article. I think we’ll see Pogue addressing his loyal readers via Twitter to reclaim his rep. His message to me was a pretty good start.
